Beach Loving is a two-level house. The main level is bright and open, with 3 bedrooms and two full baths, a sunroom with new tile floor, an updated kitchen (new granite counter tops, gas stove and dishwasher), a dining table that sits up to eight people, and a 42-inch color TV with blu-ray player. The screened-in porch has a double glider rocker, a cafe table with chairs, and three outdoor wicker chairs to relax on. The house sits on a larger lot with a wide lawn that kids can play ball on, throw the frisbee, etc. It's attractively decorated in a fun beach themed style. Bedrooms 1 and 2 have queen beds, and bedroom 1 has a wall-mounted TV; bedroom 3 has a twin trundle bed with memory foam mattresses. The kitchen is fully equipped with coffee maker, French press and hand and electric coffee grinders, blender, microwave, a good knife set, and all kitchen tools. Linens are provided for stays of 4 or more nights, and cleaning is included in the rental charge. For off-season rentals (September - May) we have a 2-night minimum stay; renters pay the linens fee if staying fewer than 4 nights. Downstairs: Downstairs (has its own separate exterior entrance) has a queen bed and a pull-out futon, a full bath with a washer/dryer, a kitchenette with a sink, dorm refrigerator, toaster oven, coffee maker, and dishes and utensils. There is also a flat screen TV. There is a gas grill for the use of guests, as well as beach chairs, boogie boards and two small beach carts, and a corn hole game set. We also have a beach umbrella that you can use. There is an outside shower with attached changing area with hot and cold water, as well as a hose for rinsing off feet.

With ocean views from nearly every room, the location is unbeatable. Both sunrises and sunsets over the water can be enjoyed from the deck or private balcony off of the master. It’s also very common to see dolphins cruising the shoreline. Baby sea turtles hatching and even whales have been spotted directly in front of our home as well. The second deck outside the oceanfront master bedroom also has a wonderful rocker to sit in and watch the waves & feel the ocean breezes-so cozy! Did we mention the oceanfront outdoor shower area-like none other! We have a sitting area with 2 rockers, & unique flower garden area plus you can hear the ocean waves as you shower! Great place to clean up after leaving the beach. (foot wash available on the private walkway too) Since we are a duplex, we have designated parking for 4-5 cars (one car garage). Don't forget to bring your kites,boogie boards, fishing gear or shelling tools! The complex has 2 outdoor pools along with an indoor pool with a small workout room and sauna, 2 lighted tennis courts, outdoor grills, picnic tables and bike racks are situated throughout the complex, so bring your own or rent bikes right across the street. Emerald Isle offers walking trails and bike paths through out the town for you to enjoy. Nearby is an amusement park with go-carts, water slide and other activities only a short walk away and the Bogue Inlet Pier with the new restaurant Surf's Up is just down the beach. Close by is shopping, restaurants and churches. Emerald Isle offers a Public Boat Ramp located at Jean Preston Park about mid way the island. (near Chapel By the Sea). There is a play ground and public restroom located there as well. We have multiple kayak launch areas and parks within the city limits, including a Sound front park with dock located on Coast Guard Road. You may also enjoy Surf Fishing all along the 12 mile stretch of our beautiful island. We have a Fishing Gear store and several Convenient Stores offer bait, hooks and other fishing items needed. Don't forget you need a Fishing License to Surf Fish but can enjoy fishing from the Bogue Inlet Fishing Pier by purchasing a fishing pass for the day or week. Welcome to "Sea and Sound", named for it's beautiful double views of deep blue ocean and calming sound. Located a short 2 minute walk to the beach, this house can just as easily handle a large gathering of extended family as provide an intimate setting for a family vacation. The house was built in 2006 and has been regularly painted and well maintained. The house is located at the crest of a dune, so it is elevated above the surroundings. The large lot contains several mature trees and landscaping, including six new palm trees that were installed in the summer of 2017. The large lot, open area on the ground floor below the house and natural setting provide an ideal area for children to play or adults to enjoy the natural surroundings. Best of all, a heated in ground pool provides endless enjoyment for the whole family and true three season enjoyment. Pool toys such as noodles, floats, and a basketball hoop are included with the rental. A well maintained outside shower provides a place to cool off after a day at the beach. The second and third level of the house contain decks with rocking chairs that surround three sides of the house providing panoramic views for sunrise, sunsets, the ocean, pool, sound and the natural tree areas that earn Emerald Isle it's name. The third, top level of the house contains an open floor plan for the kitchen, dining room, and living room. There is also a half-bath, a table for games and puzzles, a "book nook" with sound views, and the master bedroom/bathroom. The kitchen has modern stainless steel appliances, stone countertops, and a well organized and fully appointed set of appliances and cooking utensils. The kitchen opens to an island with three stools and extends to the dining area (table with seating for eight) and the living area with comfortable couches and chairs. The master bedroom includes a king bed with a separate full bath including a Jacuzzi tub. Puzzles, games and cards with poker chips are located in the living room and game table area. Worried about lugging groceries and luggage up three flights of stairs? Fear not! The house has a fully functioning and well maintained elevator with access to all three floors, capable of hauling almost 1000 lbs of people and gear at a time. The second level contains another four bedrooms, two full baths and one half bathroom. Bedroom #2 has a king bed, bedroom #3 a queen, bedroom #4 has the bunk beds with a trundle and bedroom #5 has two twin beds. All bedrooms include closets and drawer storage. Bedroom #2 and 3 have sliding door access to the decks on the ocean side and there is also an access to the deck on the pool side through the half bath. All bedrooms include full cable TVs and the whole house is equipped with WiFi. A laundry closet with modern washer/dryer are also located on this level. The second level deck is also well equipped with clothes lines for drying lots of wet towels and bathing suits. The first floor (ground level) includes an entry foyer with access to the pool deck, minor storage and an elevator access. Just off the foyer is an outside picnic table adjacent to the camper style charcoal grill. As mentioned earlier, the wide open space under the 3000+SF house provides plenty of room for play and to store beach toys and chairs. The house comes equipped with plenty of sand castle toys and four beach chairs. We purchased Sea and Sound in April of 2017. We could not have been happier with this house. We use the house ourselves as much as possible and will only sparingly rent in order to maximize our ability to use it and to minimize wear and tear. A half of a flight up the stairs from the main living area, there is also a small loft that has three retro arcade games. Tucked behind the main living space, there is a master bedroom that features a king bed and private access to a double shower and jacuzzi tub. The living space and master bedroom both have access to expansive decks with lovely views of the private, serene setting of the home. On the second level, you will find an additional king master suite and two bedrooms (one king and one queen) connected by a jack-n-jill full bath. The queen bedroom has a chair that opens to a single bed...ideal for parents who want a child in the same room. Large shaded decks with rockers and Adirondack chairs provide peace and quiet or an overlook of the pool area. For your convenience, there is a laundry room on this level as well. On the ground level of the home, you will find a large room that features an additional large screen TV, bunks, and pull-out beds providing up to 5 kids their own space to sleep, watch tv and play games. This room adjoins a large full bathroom with tub/shower combination and double sinks. Another room connects to the bath that includes a pull-out daybed, sleeping 2 more. The outdoor accommodations include a pool, hot tub, outdoor shower, picnic table, and grill. The home has a Pack-n-Play crib, a high chair, and pool/beach toys for kids. Within walking distance or a short drive by car or golf cart (rental available), you will step foot on the pristine Crystal Coast beaches. Wide-open with gentle surf, the beach makes for an ideal family getaway. Bath towels and bed linens are included with the rental of the home. Up to 2 dogs permitted at $100 per dog.
